According to tipster Max Jambor and SmartPix, the Chinese company’s OnePlus Open new launch event will reportedly occur on August 29.
The first-ever foldable phone from OnePlus will be unveiled during this event, according to the information that has leaked, and it will go on sale sometime in Q3. The location of this event is expected to be in New York, and it will also be live-streamed online. Soon after, the folding phone will be released internationally.

Rumors and numerous leaks claim that the OnePlus V Fold/Open will have a 7.8-inch folding inner display paired with a 6.3-inch outer screen, both of which will have an outstanding 120Hz refresh rate.
According to rumors, the upcoming OnePlus foldable will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, at least 256GB of storage, and up to 16GB of Ram. A 64MP telephoto camera will round out the triple camera array, which is said to have two 48MP rear cameras acting as the main camera and the ultra-wide sensor.
A powerful 4,800mAh battery pack is supposed to be included, supporting 67W fast wired charging, to keep the tablet running all day. Furthermore, OnePlus is likely to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on this popular foldable device because of its unique form factor.
