The “Saada” welfare initiative has been launched by Dubai’s Permanent Committee for Labour Affairs to cheer up workers during Eid Al-Azha. The programe offers them the chance to win fantastic prizes, such as brand-new automobiles and Apple iPhones, in an effort to raise their spirits.
The Saada initiative will be applied to various labourers’ lodgings in Al Quoz, Jebel Ali, and Muhaisnah to ensure inclusion. This makes sure that everyone who works in Dubai can take advantage of this kind gesture.
The chairman of the Permanent Committee for Labour Affairs, Major General Obaid Muhair bin Suroor, is adamant on incorporating all workers in the Saada programme. Coupon cards will be given to each worker, and help will be offered to make the procedure easier. After that, these cards will be gathered and put into a drawing.
The drawing will take place over the course of three days, with the automobile prize winner being announced on the last day of Eid Al-Azha. The Saada project will include compelling entertainment, such as traditional folklore and cultural acts, in addition to the thrilling prize giveaways, resulting in a cheerful environment for the workforce.
The Dubai Charity Association and Beit Al Khair Society have generously contributed to the Saada initiative. To ensure the success of this important project, prestigious organisations including the Department of Economic Development (DED), Dubai Municipality, Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, Dubai Police, and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA) have teamed up.
The committee’s secretary general, Abdullah Lashakri Muhammad, acknowledges the crucial contribution that diligent workers have made to enhancing the beauty of the UAE and its cities. They are the real backbone of Dubai because of their commitment and sacrifices in leaving their family behind to work there.
