According to a tweet from the official Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police page on X (previously Twitter), the Safe City Command and Control Center has formally begun the “go to school” campaign in an effort to safeguard the welfare and education of Islamabad’s young. This project is a result of continuing work to give the city’s children’s education and safety a top priority.
The first significant step of the campaign involves the use of the Safe City security cameras. More than 20 kids who were discovered to be missing from school and college were located loitering around entertainment hubs, marketplaces, and other suburbs of the city.
