“Threads is Just Instagram Minus Pics, Which Makes No Sense,” Elon Musk

Twitter’s owner Elon Musk made a statement about Meta’s new Threads app, comparing it to Instagram but without “thirst pics.” Musk made this remark at a time when Threads was becoming known as a possible Twitter rival.

Twitter and Meta are still involved in legal conflicts, with Musk’s attorney alleging that Meta used private Twitter information and former Twitter workers to create Threads.

In a recent tweet, Musk made the implication that the lack of photographs on Threads makes it less enticing than Instagram. Instagram’s founder acknowledged Threads’ present features’ limitations and pledged to expand upon them in the future.
