Dubai: On Laylat Al Qadr, often known as the Night of Power during Ramadan, UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi sent a lovely gift from space. A video of Mecca and Madina at night, with the Grand Mosque blazing beautifully, was presented as the gift.

The Najmonaut (Arab astronaut) who is now on the International Space Station (ISS) and is currently on the longest Arab space mission presented it as a gift intended for “Salman’s children,” alluding to King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia. This was done on the auspicious nights of the holy month.

The video shows Mecca and Madina fully illuminated in addition to breathtaking shots of the Grand Mosque, the Muslim faith’s holiest shrine, shining brilliantly.

Al Neyadi’s movie also features Jeddah and other places in the Kingdom.
