Many Pakistanis want to move from vehicles to bikes as a result of the country’s historically high rate of inflation. But, because of the rising cost of fuel, conventional motorcycles are also becoming an unfeasible option.
United Auto Industries (PVT) LTD. saw this as an opportunity and expanded its selection of electric bike models by three. These are the bicycles:
Revolt is an entry-level electric commuter bike with an electric motor in the back and a standard 70CC bike configuration. It also has alloy wheels.
United Revolt

Details reveal that Revolt features a 1500-watt motor and a 48-Volt battery that together enable a maximum range of 75 kilometres and a top speed of 80 kph on a road. To fully charge the battery, it takes 4 to 5 hours.
Although it has a classic 70CC bike look, it has a few significant upgrades, like a front disc brake, alloy wheels, an inverted telescopic front suspension, and a clutchless drive.
Priced at Rs. 253,000, delivery of the Revolt are expected to start this week.
The Spark is a mid-range electric commuter bike from United that has a standard 100CC bike configuration.

Electric bikes, also known as e-bikes, are bicycles that are equipped with a motor and a battery to assist with pedaling. The motor provides additional power to the pedals, allowing riders to travel faster and farther than they could on a traditional bicycle.
E-bikes come in a variety of styles, including road bikes, mountain bikes, and commuter bikes, and are available in both pedal-assist and throttle-assist models. Pedal-assist e-bikes require the rider to pedal in order to activate the motor, while throttle-assist e-bikes allow the rider to activate the motor with a twist of the wrist, similar to a motorcycle.
One of the advantages of e-bikes is that they can make cycling more accessible to people who might not otherwise be able to ride a traditional bicycle due to age, physical fitness, or other limitations. E-bikes can also be a more environmentally-friendly mode of transportation than cars or motorcycles, as they produce fewer emissions and require less energy to operate.
However, e-bikes can be more expensive than traditional bicycles, and the added weight of the motor and battery can make them more difficult to maneuver and transport. In addition, some jurisdictions may have restrictions on where e-bikes are allowed to be ridden or may require licensing or registration for certain types of e-bikes.
Overall, e-bikes can be a great option for people who want to enjoy the benefits of cycling with a little extra assistance. It’s important to do your research and choose an e-bike that meets your needs and budget, and to be aware of the regulations in your area regarding e-bike use.
